Receptiva: Bilingual AI Phone Receptionist for Law Firms
A bilingual (English/Spanish) AI phone receptionist for personal-injury law firms. It answers, triages, and routes inbound calls, warm-transfers to attorneys, and turns every call into a structured lead.
The Problem
Personal-injury firms win or lose cases on the first call. Calls that land after hours, during a deposition, or in Spanish when no Spanish speaker is free go to voicemail, and those callers dial the next firm. Answering services take a message, but they can't triage the case or get an attorney on the line.
The Solution
Receptiva is a bilingual (English/Spanish) AI phone receptionist built for personal-injury firms. It answers every inbound call, works out what the caller needs, and routes it. When a new case is urgent it warm-transfers to an attorney; otherwise it captures the intake. After each call, a structured lead lands in the firm's dashboard. Gabe co-founded Receptiva and built it as CTO. It has been live in production since June 2026.
Architecture
- Real-time voice agent with a swappable model layer, so each firm runs on the voice model that fits its calls
- Warm transfer to attorneys over SIP
- Evaluation service that regression-tests call behavior before every deploy
- Self-serve platform that provisions phone numbers, a firm dashboard, and subscriptions
- Durable post-call pipeline that extracts structured leads into Postgres
- Public REST API and MCP server with OAuth 2.1 + PKCE, so firms can use Receptiva from Claude and ChatGPT
- Multi-tenant security: deny-all row-level security, cross-tenant isolation tests, and an append-only audit log
Results
Receptiva has been answering, triaging, and routing real inbound calls for law firms since June 2026. Every model or prompt change runs against the eval suite before it reaches a live phone line.
What This Demonstrates
A production voice agent is mostly the parts around the model: telephony, transfers, evals, multi-tenant data isolation, and billing. CodeHarmonic builds and runs that whole system, not just the demo.
